Tuesdays with … April 25, 2016

Here’s your Tuesdays with…. update for those in need of a kidney transplant and their advocates. You could use the following information and email to family members, friends and post on your Facebook page and other social media outlets. You could also include additional information about your health, progress and other activities. If this is your first Tuesdays with… update, click here to learn how to use Tuesdays with… to expand on your Kidney Kampaign.

I am planning on printing the following items that will help spread the word about my situation and tell my story. Will you help?

  1. Business Cards – This could be handed out to people you meet. They could also be placed on bulletin boards.
  2. I’m printing a flyer that can be used with the business card as I described above. There are bulletin boards in coffee shops, restaurants, libraries, places of worship and many other locations.
  3. Have you seen the signs that people put on their cars? I’m planning on doing the same and it would be a great help if you could do the same on your car. Here’s a link to a story about such a sign.   (I suggest that you leave out your blood type. Most people don't know their blood type and others mistakenly think they are one type and they end of to be another.
  4. Lawn signs are a great way to get the word out. Here’s a good example.

Please let me know if you could help with any of the above. Let me know if you have additional ideas.

Can you suggest another way to let others know about your need? Please share it with us by Clicking Here and we will include in in a future Tuesdays With... update.

If you know someone else in need of a kidney transplant or would like to pass this on to your doctor or a dialysis/transplant social worker please provide him or her with this link:

Until next week, we wish you the best in your journey.
